Advanced Hemodynamics Course
The Advanced Hemodynamics Course is a 4-hour, video-based continuing education program created for healthcare professionals responsible for managing patients with complex cardiovascular needs. This course provides a detailed, practical understanding of hemodynamic monitoring, waveform interpretation, and cardiac performance assessment essential to optimizing circulatory function in critical care settings.
Participants will learn to interpret arterial, central venous, and pulmonary artery pressure waveforms, gaining insight into how to apply these measurements effectively in daily clinical practice. Topics include preload, afterload, contractility, systemic vascular resistance (SVR), pulmonary capillary wedge pressure (PCWP), cardiac index, and oxygen delivery parameters.
Through high-quality instructional videos, learners will explore how volume status, vascular tone, and myocardial contractility interact to influence hemodynamic values and patient stability. Real-world clinical examples demonstrate how to correlate waveform changes with physiologic responses and treatment adjustments.
